Our massage therapy sessions include a combination of sports massage and deep tissue techniques to allow for optimal results. Each massage session is unique to each horse, with an integration of therapeutic techniques and sequences to seek out weak areas to improve them. The equine body is so unique with over 700 muscles that all play a major role and function in movement and biomechanics.

Our massage therapy sessions have a focus on injury prevention, improving muscle function, and overall musculoskeletal health.

Every massage therapy session includes a free Red Light Poll Cap Treatment as well.

Say something interesting about your business here. When it comes to horses, and animals alike- everything is connected! If one muscle group is not functioning properly, there’s is compensation to be found in another area. Over 60% of the horse’s weight is muscle; and unfortunately their body responds to stress via hyper contraction on muscles.  With our strategy of combined techniques, applications, and treatment methods- we are able to locate problem areas and nurture them back to optimal function. A key factor during our sessions is body language, being able to read, sense, and respond to the horse and what they are trying to communicate during their session.

Horse’s can be extremely expressive during their sessions, and tend to be very responsive and reactive. Minor discomfort may occur when treating areas of sensitivity, but often times they work out of it and follow with a form of release- licking, chewing, and yawning.  Horses may try to help during sessions by leaning into areas, stretching, and communicating via body language.  We encourage a quick walk about after massage sessions to relax muscles and offer fresh water to promote hydration.   It is safe to work or ride your horse immediately after, however giving them the day off is encouraged!
